It’s time for another Pitchfork Music Festival lineup announcement! We’ve already revealed that Animal Collective, Fleet Foxes, TV on the Radio, Cut Copy, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, James Blake, OFWGKTA, the Dismemberment Plan, Deerhunter, and many more are on board for this summer’s fest, which goes down July 15-17 in Chicago’s Union Park. And the lineup is about to get even more stacked. The additions are: the reunited Guided by Voices, Neko Case, No Age, Gang Gang Dance, the Fresh & Onlys, Kurt Vile, HEALTH, the Radio Dept., G-Side, Shabazz Palaces, Baths, How to Dress Well, Twin Sister, and Chrissy Murderbot.

Times New Viking | ”No Room to Live”

Ohio shit-fi indie rock heroes Times New Viking have signed with Merge Records, who will release their new album, Dancer Equired, on April 25 in the U.S. The first single from the record will be “No Room to Live”, which previously appeared on a tour-only 7” during the band’s jaunt with Guided by Voices last year.

“No Room to Live” is on a handmade, tour-only seven-inch (w/ “Nite & Day”) that you can snag while the trio finishes up the first leg of a tour with that one band from Dayton… (Unfortunately Times New Viking isn’t opening the Guided by Voices show at Outland Live on Saturday).
