Me, this morning.
My coffeemaker is approaching the end of its life.
Even worse, as things get closer to the end, my coffeemaker is starting to suffer incontinence all over my kitchen counter.
This will not bode well for my coffeemaker when it goes to face the coffee death panel (made up entirely of me).
The Weekend in Review
This was a weird, event-filled weekend. Let’s recap:
Friday
- Woke up at 8 a.m., decided I didn’t want to go to work, called in sick
- Went back to bed
- Woke up at 11 a.m.
- Laid around and watched TV for approximately 4 hours
- Went to Dusty’s to pregame Vino Vino’s happy hour
- 2 Tecates
- Went to Vino Vino’s happy hour
- $3 mini pizza
- 4 Amstel Lights
- Went back to Dusty’s
- 22 oz. Southern Tier Hoppe Imperial Extra Pale Ale (10% ABV)
- 22 oz. Southern Tier Unearthly Imperial IPA (11% ABV)
- 1 Bell’s Pale Ale
- 1 Miller Lite
- Went to The Rack
- 1 Miller Lite
Mingled withAvoided townies- Pulled darts and tried to do drunken math for Erin & Mary’s game of 301
- Went to Taco Bell
- Went to sleep for 5 hours
Saturday
- Woke up at 7 a.m., drank three large glasses of water, went back to bed
- Woke up at 8:30 a.m., showered, and packed
- Went to Starbucks, wished they made a size bigger than Venti
- Drove almost two hours to parents’ house in Akron
- Went to lunch, Five Guys Burgers and Fries
- Drove by LeBron James’ enormous mansion
- Finally saw Slumdog Millionaire
- Confirmed that I have a gigantic crush on Freida Pinto
- Went to dinner, Olive Garden
- My mom’s idea
- My brother Mike was our server
- Went home, talked, went to sleep
Sunday
- Woke up at 9 a.m., told my dad “Happy Birthday”, gave him a present
- Drank coffee, read the newspaper
- Went to lunch with Mike, Aladdin’s Eatery
- Went to Revival
- Purchased Akron-themed t-shirt
- Went to Erin’s parents’ house
- Drove home to Columbus
- Fell asleep in living room chair, approximately 30 to 45 minutes
- Went to dinner, Rancho Alegre
- Watched tv
- Tumbled
One of Erin’s kindergarten students gave this to her for Valentine’s Day.
I’m not gonna lie — I may very well be having these for breakfast tomorrow.
